New Zealand brews some of the best beers in the world, but getting into the hobby can be intimidating. With some many beers to choose from, who knows what is good and what is bad? We do. Each month our qualified BJCP beer judges select beers from independent NZ breweries and curate a selection with the best of the best. Taste wonderful medal-standard beers at home every month, including new releases, seasonal ranges, and experimental batches.

This is why we bring together some of the best independent breweries into our curation of craft beers. Our boxes feature breweries from across New Zealand, and cans you wouldn’t be able to find in stores. And if you’re sick of repetition, don’t worry. We always make sure to include a variety of styles to broaden your horizons.
Fresh, Direct, Uncomplicated
Our monthly subscription boxes are sent around the 20th of every month. We always strive to get you the freshest possible product, because we understand craft beer is serious business. The beers come fresh to us straight from the breweries, before being packed overnight and sent directly to your doorstep. We have streamlined the process to make everything as straightforward and convenient as possible, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy!

Freshness and boldness, with a hoppy ending! Sawmill – Apricot Hazy IPA & DNA Brewing – White Sands White IPA were the crown jewels. Great customer service and speedy deliver. Highly recommended!

The worst beers of Marchfest.
I was at Marchfest & the beers were excellent this year. Except these 3 in the box. I know buying it was a risk but at $75 for 8 awful beers, I’m disappointed.
Disappointing
I was quite disappointed with this box. Whilst I was aware that there would be double ups, to get only 3 different beers included made it feel like this was a bit of a token effort. The beers included in the box were also disappointing, they were far from the strongest beers at Marchfest 2025 in my opinion. I wouldn't purchase this box again next year.

24 days of beer cheer
I usually order this for my brother each year, but this year I got us one each. 24 Beers for each day in December leading up to Christmas. A good variety with only 2 stouts (I'm not a fan) but I still drank both of them. Great excuse to try a style you normally wouldn't buy. Nice way to enjoy summer in the lead up to Christmas

I thought the selection this year wasn’t as good. Didn’t enjoy as much as previous years. Too many sours.

Craft beer box review
Overall I enjoyed it, a good excuse to try some beers I normally wouldn't drink. I didn't enjoy a few of the beers - some of them I don't think could be associated with craft beer like a lime sour? Horrible. A few that were pretty plain too like the low carb lagers, may as well have just put an export low carb in the mix. Not bad beer but again not sure I would call them craft beer.
Great to see non-alcoholic beers
As someone who loves the taste of good beer but now doesn't drink alcohol this was a great selection of some of the best non alcohol beers around.
Great Service
My husband is very happy with his advent calendar. It was held up as it was damaged in transit but once I let them know, the communication was great and they got it sorted quickly. Would definitely purchase from them again.

Too many sours and lagers
Love at first night
They even gave me a stubby (can) holder in the box. I've isolated this one beer as the most delightful and memorable from the last assorted box. I'm ordering a box!
Excellent selection
There was a nice pale blue can in there, even came with a stubby (can) holder. I really liked the beer in it and want to order more, I think it was Garage project beer but I can't find it online. That's the problem for me and I guess many other drinkers, the brands and models are so many its just impossible to remember them. I mean I have a whisky collection to remember, rums, Bourbons, wines, how does beer get some room in the memory banks? It doesn't, even though I love it, every day. Not a problem for established brands but might explain why there are so many micro-brewery liquidations. Doesn't help that the graphics constantly change, get some branding knowledge people.

Tall Tale = Tall Taste
I really enjoyed this brew, it’s hard to pin down the final aftertaste for me personally but the hops shine through in a very pleasant way but over powering. After mowing the lawns this fine brew definitely smashed me over after consuming 3 well chilled cans and I had to have a nana nap haha Don’t think I’ve ever seen another beer out there brewed as a memorial. Well done Badass Beverages, you nailed this one.
